  • By the hour$25 an hour
  • SprungFloors, mirrors, LED light

If you need a dance studio in the West Valley for a rehearsal, a choreography session, a team practice, an audition tape, or a shoot, The Facility rents its rooms by the hour around the class schedule. Every room is a true black box — black walls, black sprung floor, black ceiling, and one line of teal LED light where the wall meets the floor — which makes them unusually good on camera: no storefront clutter, no beige walls, nothing in frame but the dancer.

Rentals are booked by request. Call or text (623) 253-9229 with the date, the hours, the room you want, and what you are using it for, and we will confirm availability. Every room is the same price: $25 an hour, and $15 for an extra half hour (an hour and a half is $40). Cancel 48 hours or more ahead and there is no charge; inside 48 hours the rental fee is still owed — the full policy is at facilitydancestudio.com/booking-policy.

The rooms

Studio 1 is the largest: 1,400 square feet of sprung marley with a full mirror wall (curtain available) and a dimmable teal LED perimeter — the room for full-team rehearsals and anything ballet. Studio 2 is 1,100 square feet of sprung hardwood with concert-grade sound and programmable LED scenes; hip hop, tap, and anything that needs bass belongs here. Studio 3 is the quiet box, 900 square feet of sprung marley with a single spotlight rig — the most theatrical room in the building and the one filmmakers ask for. Studio 4 is the newest room, sprung floor and teal perimeter, sized for privates, small groups, and solo work.

What people rent them for

Choreographers setting work on a group. School dance teams and cheer squads that need a real sprung floor and mirrors before a competition. Solo dancers filming audition submissions and college applications — the black box reads beautifully on video and the LED perimeter gives a clean, consistent light source. Content creators shooting dance videos. Wedding couples rehearsing a first dance with an instructor. Outside teachers who need a room for a private. If it is dance-adjacent and respectful of the floor, ask.

Floor rules are simple and firm: indoor-only shoes or bare feet, no street shoes, no food or drink on the floor besides water, and no tape, rosin, or props that mark the marley without asking first. Sprung floors are expensive and we take care of ours.

Hours, booking, and privates

Rentals run in the gaps around classes, which means the most availability is on weekday mornings and midday, Saturday afternoons, and late evenings; the studio is open Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 9:30 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm; we are closed Sundays. Standing weekly bookings can be arranged for teams and choreographers who need the same slot every week. Bookings are confirmed by the studio, and you will get a straight answer quickly.

If what you actually need is a teacher in the room, that is a private lesson rather than a rental: one dancer, one of our faculty, one black-box studio. Every faculty bio page has a request button. We are at 21461 N 78th Ave, Suite 185 in north Peoria, off the Loop 101 at Deer Valley, with a free parking lot outside the door — easy from Glendale, Arrowhead, Sun City, Surprise, and north Phoenix.

Questions about renting a studio

How much does it cost to rent a studio?

$25 an hour for any room, plus $15 for an extra half hour (billed in half-hour steps). Cancel 48 hours or more ahead for free; later than that the rental fee is still owed (facilitydancestudio.com/booking-policy). Call or text (623) 253-9229 with your date and hours to book.

What is included?

The room, the sprung floor, the mirror wall, the LED lighting, and the sound system in rooms that have one. Bring your own music on a phone or laptop. Studio staff are on site during studio hours.

Can I film in the studio?

Yes — the black-box rooms are built for it. Tell us it is a shoot when you book so we can suggest the room (Studio 3's spotlight rig is a favorite) and make sure the LED scene you want is set.

Can I rent every week for a team?

Yes. Standing weekly bookings are available around the class schedule for teams, choreographers, and outside instructors.

What are the floor rules?

Indoor-only shoes or bare feet, water only on the floor, no tape or rosin without asking, and no props that could mark the marley. Sprung floors are the most expensive thing in the building and we treat them that way.

Do you offer private lessons instead of a bare rental?

Yes — every faculty bio page has a private lesson request button. One dancer, one instructor, one studio, and we reply within a day.
