Privacy Policy. 

We only collect what we need to run the studio and serve your family. Depending on how you interact with us, that includes:

• Contact and account information — parent or guardian name, email address, phone number, home address, and a password if you create a family portal account.
• Dancer information — your dancer’s name, date of birth, class enrollments, attendance records, skill progress, and sizing information for costumes and apparel.
• Health and safety information — allergies, medications, special needs, emergency contacts, and injury reports, provided by you so we can keep your dancer safe.
• Waivers and documents — signed liability waivers and other enrollment documents.
• Billing information — tuition, fees, and payment history. Card payments are processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
• Photos and video — media of dancers taken at classes, rehearsals, and events, used as described below.
• Communications — messages you send us and a log of the emails and text messages we send you.
• Website basics — the technical minimum needed to serve and secure the site, such as server logs. We use essential browser storage to keep you signed in to the portal; we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• Enrolling dancers, scheduling classes, and taking attendance.
• Communicating about classes, schedule changes, absences, billing, events, recitals, and studio news.
• Keeping dancers safe, including responding to injuries and medical needs.
• Processing tuition and fees.
• Following up with families who try a class or ask about our programs.
• Celebrating our dancers — birthdays, achievements, and milestones.
• Running, securing, and improving the website and family portal.
• Meeting legal, tax, and insurance obligations.

With your consent, we send text messages to staff and to parents and guardians of enrolled and prospective students. Messages may include class schedule updates and cancellations, attendance and absence confirmations, trial class follow-ups, registration and billing reminders, birthday greetings, and announcements about studio events such as recitals and special classes.

• Opt-in. You consent to receive texts when you provide your phone number during registration, in your portal account, or in person at the studio and agree to be contacted by text.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 623-253-9229 or info@facilitydancestudio.com. Opting out of texts does not affect your dancer’s enrollment.
• No sharing of mobile information. No mobile telephone numbers or SMS opt-in data and consent will be shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except for our SMS delivery provider solely to the extent necessary to deliver the messages.

We send transactional emails (registration confirmations, injury notices, billing, and account messages) and, with your consent, studio news and marketing emails. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us at info@facilitydancestudio.com to be removed. Transactional emails about your dancer’s enrollment continue as long as you are an active family.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us operate — website and database hosting, email delivery, text message delivery, and payment processing. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Event organizers such as competition and convention hosts, when you register your dancer for those events.
• Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of our dancers, staff, or others.
• Business transfers — if the studio is ever sold or merged, family records would transfer with it under this same policy.

Our students are children, and we take that seriously. All student information is provided to us by a parent or legal guardian — our website, registration forms, and family portal are designed for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13. A parent or guardian may review, correct, or ask us to delete their child’s information at any time by contacting us.

We love showing off our dancers, but we ask first. Photos and videos of dancers may be used on our website, social media, and promotional materials only as permitted by the media consent you give at registration. You may change your media preferences at any time by contacting the front desk, and we will honor requests to remove a dancer’s image from our channels.

Family records are stored in our secure studio management system with role-based access — staff only see what their job requires. Passwords are stored hashed, connections are encrypted, and access to health information is limited to staff who need it for safety. We keep records as long as your family is active with us, plus the period required for legal, tax, and insurance purposes, then delete or anonymize them.

• Access, update, or correct your family’s information through the family portal or by contacting us.
• Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about your family.
• Ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep.
• Opt out of marketing emails and text messages at any time (STOP for texts, unsubscribe links for email).
• Change your media consent preferences.

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify active families by email. Continued use of our website and services after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
