Dance Classes
Dance classes near Glendale.
Ten minutes up the 101 from most of Glendale, The Facility is where dancers come for black-box studios, teal light, and teachers who never raise their voices.
If you are searching for dance classes in Glendale, AZ, here is the honest math: our studio sits at 78th Ave and Deer Valley in north Peoria, about a 10 to 15 minute drive from Arrowhead, Westgate, and most Glendale neighborhoods. Dozens of our families make that drive every week, and they will tell you why: four all-black box studios with sprung floors, a faculty that includes NBA-team and world-stage performance experience, and a culture where every teacher knows every dancer's name.
We teach ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre for ages 1 to adult, plus Friday night Adult Line Dancing at 6:30 pm. Recreational dancers get the same instructors and the same attention as our competitive company — competition here is invite-only and always optional.
Tuition is public down to the dollar, and your first class is completely free. Come take one, watch your dancer light up under the teal light, and then decide.
Glendale families are already here
Fifteen Glendale families — eighteen dancers between them — are enrolled at The Facility right now, which makes Glendale our biggest hometown outside Peoria and Phoenix. They are not making a sacrifice to get here: from Arrowhead Ranch you come straight up 75th or 83rd Avenue, and from central Glendale the Loop 101 to Union Hills or Beardsley turns the trip into one exit and two turns.
The schedule is built for that after-school run. Weekday recreational classes start at 4:30 pm, which gives a Glendale pickup at 3:00 or 3:30 a comfortable margin instead of a scramble, and evening blocks run late enough that older dancers can train after homework instead of instead of it.

Not just after school
If your dancer is not school-age yet, you do not have to wait for the weekend: Tuesday and Wednesday mornings have classes for our youngest dancers, and Saturday mornings run a full little-kid lineup from Mommy & Me at 9:00 am through Disney Princess, Hip Hop Tumble, and musical theatre by lunchtime. Plenty of Glendale families do their whole dance week before Saturday noon.
Questions Glendale families ask
How far is The Facility from Arrowhead Towne Center?
About five to ten minutes. Head north on 75th or 83rd Avenue to Deer Valley Road, then over to 78th Ave. Most of Arrowhead Ranch is closer to us than to central Glendale.
Can we make a 4:30 pm class after school lets out in Glendale?
Yes — that start time exists for exactly this reason. From most Glendale schools the drive is 10 to 15 minutes, so a 3:00 or 3:30 pickup leaves time for a snack in the car and shoes on before class.
Do you have classes for preschoolers, or only school-age kids?
Both. Weekday mornings and Saturday mornings carry our youngest classes, including Mommy & Me and Disney Princess ballet, so little dancers are not stuck waiting for an evening slot.
