Most adults who walk into The Facility come for one of two things: a Friday night out, or a skill they always wanted. For the first, there is Adult Line Dancing every Friday at 6:30 pm — classic and modern line dances taught step by step, $20 per night, no partner and no experience needed, ages 18 and up. Boots optional, rhythm optional, fun mandatory. One of our black-box studios turns into a dance hall every week.
For the second, there are private lessons with our faculty — one adult, one instructor, one black-box studio — in any style we teach: ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, ballroom, musical theatre. Every faculty bio page has a private lesson request button, and we reply within a day. We also run open adult classes as interest builds; the live list below shows anything currently open for enrollment.

Why adults like dancing in a black box
Every studio here has black walls, a black sprung floor, and one line of teal LED light where the wall meets the floor. For a nervous adult beginner, that matters more than it sounds: there is no storefront window, no audience, nothing in the room but the movement and a teacher who is glad you came. An adult hip hop student put it this way in a Google review — from the moment he walked in, the friendly greeters made the atmosphere warm and inviting. That is the goal.

Line dancing, in detail
Fridays at 6:30 pm. Each night is taught from scratch, so you can come once, come every week, or bring a group for a birthday; a lot of Sun City and Sun City West grandparents make it their standing plan while the grandkids take Saturday classes. Wear whatever you are comfortable in — boots welcome, sneakers fine, nothing that grips the floor too hard. $20 per person per night; details and the current payment link are on our events page.
Private lessons, ballroom, and everything else
Private lessons are the fastest route for an adult with a specific goal: a first dance at a wedding, a ballroom foundation, the hip hop class you were too shy to take at 20, or ballet from the barre up. Our ballroom instructor teaches partnering and poise; our Hip Hop Director has coached NBA and college dance teams. Book through any faculty bio, tell us the goal, and we pair you with the right teacher.
The studio is open Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 9:30 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm; we are closed Sundays, at 21461 N 78th Ave, Suite 185 in north Peoria, off the Loop 101 at Deer Valley with free parking outside the door. Questions adults ask
Do I need a partner or experience for line dancing?
Neither. Every Friday is taught step by step from the beginning, and line dancing has no partners by design. Ages 18 and up, $20 per night.
Are there beginner adult classes in ballet or hip hop?

How do I book a private lesson?
Use the private lesson button on any faculty bio page, or call (623) 253-9229 with your goal and the days that work. One adult, one instructor, one black-box studio; we reply within a day.
What do I wear?
For line dancing, whatever you are comfortable in — boots welcome, sneakers fine, nothing that grips the floor too hard. For a private, the teacher will tell you; comfortable clothes you can move in are always right.
Can I bring a group to line dancing?
Yes — birthdays, work groups, and friend nights are common. If your group is large, call ahead so we can plan the room.
