Safety and studio policies.
The plain-language version of how we run the building: who teaches your dancer, how pickup works, what happens when someone is sick or hurt, and how we use photos and texts. Questions? Call or text (623) 253-9229.
Staff screening
Our instructors are background-checked before they teach here. Every teacher is a trained, experienced dancer whose bio is public on our faculty page, and the same teachers work with recreational and competitive dancers alike. Class sizes are capped so a teacher actually knows every dancer in the room.
If anything about an adult in our building ever makes you or your dancer uncomfortable, tell Justin or Leah directly — in person or at (623) 253-9229. We would rather hear it early.
Drop-off and pickup
Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early so dancers can settle in — warm-up is the most important part of class for preventing injury. Young dancers are released to a parent or guardian inside the building, never to the parking lot, so come in promptly at the end of class.
Parents of our youngest dancers are welcome to stay in the lobby, and many do. For older dancers it is up to you — just be back before class ends. If someone other than the usual grown-up is picking up, let the front desk know ahead of time.
Sickness and injuries
If your dancer is sick, please keep them home and rest — there is no penalty, and monthly tuition is not tied to attendance. Text or call us at (623) 253-9229 and we will note the absence; you can also mark it from your family portal.
If a dancer is hurt in class, the teacher stops, gives first aid, and gets you on the phone if it is anything more than a scrape. Every incident is written up as an injury report in our studio records the same day, and that report is emailed to the family automatically so you have it in writing.
Photos and video
We love showing off our dancers, but we ask first. Tell us at registration whether your dancer may appear in our photos and videos (website, social media, and printed materials). You can change that preference at any time by calling the front desk at (623) 253-9229, and we will honor requests to remove a dancer’s image from our channels.
Teachers share class notes and media with families privately through the family portal; nothing goes public without your consent. Our full privacy policy has the details.
Weather and closures
If we ever need to close or move a class — monsoon flooding, a power outage, a sick teacher with no sub — enrolled families are notified directly: a text to every opted-in phone and an email to the address on file, sent automatically the moment the change is made. We post it on our social channels too. When in doubt, check your messages before heading in.
Same-day cancellations show on your family portal’s Today tab as well, so you never have to guess.
Tuition, refunds, and withdrawals
Tuition is monthly and public, down to the dollar, on our pricing page. There is no long season contract: to withdraw, let us know before the 1st and the next month’s tuition simply stops. Your first class in any style is free, and the $35 registration fee is waived if you enroll within 24 hours of that trial.
Questions about a specific situation — a missed month, a mid-season move, a credit — are handled person-to-person. Call or text (623) 253-9229, or read the billing answers in our FAQ.
Text messages
With your consent we send automated texts: class changes and cancellations, absence confirmations, registration and billing reminders, and studio event announcements. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Consent is never a condition of registration.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately, or HELP for help. Our terms and privacy policy cover the rest.
