Free first class
What to expect at your first class.
Everything a new family needs before walking in: when to arrive, what to wear, where to park, and what happens next. Your first class in any style is free — no card, no commitment.
Come 15 minutes early.
Classes change over on the hour and the lobby gets busy. Fifteen minutes early means you skip the rush and we get to do this properly:
- Check in at the front desk. Say it's your first class and who you booked for — we'll be expecting you.
- Take a quick tour. Black rooms, teal light, four studios. You'll see where your dancer's class is and where to wait.
- Meet some of the staff. A friendly face before the music starts makes the first walk into the room a lot easier.
- Ask us anything. Ages, styles, tuition, the season, the Winter Showcase — there's no such thing as a silly question on day one.
Ballet has a dress code. Everything else is easy.
Ballet
- Leotard and tights
- Hair slicked back in a bun
- Ballet slippers
Don't have slippers yet? Come anyway — socks are fine for a first class, and we'll point you to what to buy if your dancer keeps going.
Every other class
- Fitted athletic clothes you can move in — leggings or shorts and a fitted top
- Hair pulled back off the face
- No special shoes needed for your first class
Jazz, hip hop, acro, contemporary, tap, tumbling: clean sneakers or bare feet, whatever the teacher says on the day.
For every dancer
- A water bottle with their name on it
- No jewelry — it catches, and it gets lost
- Leave the phone with a grown-up
- Label shoes and bags; four studios means four lost-and-founds

Running late or plans changed?
Life happens. Reply to any of our texts or call (623) 253-9229 and we'll move your free class to another day. Nothing is lost — the first class is free whenever you make it.
Your dancer is in good hands.
The teacher knows it's a first class
Your dancer is introduced to the room, shown where to stand, and brought in gently. Nobody is singled out; everybody was new once.
How long it runs
Most classes are 45 minutes or an hour, depending on age and style. The time in your text is the start time — arrive 15 minutes before it.
Nervous is normal
Some dancers run in; some hold a hand at the door for a minute. Both are fine. The desk is right there if anyone needs a moment.
Loved it? Here's the deal.
Enroll within 24 hours of the trial and we waive the $35 registration fee. Same teacher, same room, and a spot with your dancer's name on it.
