About this class

Get ready to groove! Our Recreational Jazz Class is a high-energy, imaginative dance adventure designed specifically for 3-5 year-olds. We focus on building fundamental movement skills while celebrating the joy of self-expression in a fun, pressure-free environment.

Each class blends rhythm, coordination, and creative play to keep our youngest dancers engaged. Students will explore:

Fundamental Technique: Learning basic jazz steps, leaps, and turns adapted for growing bodies.

Rhythmic Awareness: Dancing to upbeat, kid-friendly music to develop a strong sense of beat and timing.

Creative Expression: Using movement games to build confidence and allow their unique personalities to shine.

Social Fun: Developing motor skills and listening abilities alongside new friends.

Our goal is to foster a lifelong love of dance! Whether they are leaping across the floor or mastering a pose, every dancer will leave feeling proud of their progress.

What to wear

Leotard or fitted top with leggings or jazz pants, and tan jazz shoes. Hair pulled back.

For the trial, comfortable clothes and bare feet or socks are perfectly fine — buy shoes after you fall in love with it.
